Yar’Adua: I’ll Reform Electoral Process
The president-elect, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua yesterday assured Nigerians that on assumption of office on May 29, he would set up a committee to review the electoral laws in the country with a view to removing all the pitfalls.
He also added that part of the terms of reference for the committee would be to take a special look at the just concluded April elections and make appropriate recommendations.
He spoke while receiving former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme who paid him a solidarity visit, and advised the president-elect to reconcile aggrieved Nigerians within and outside the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as a measure of making a success of his administration.

I have no problem with Yaradua. In fact I like him and something tells me that he will deliver and he will even bring AGAGU, OBJ and many others to the books. This is why OBJ is indirectly reminding him not to forget he put him in power and show mercy by OBJ singing that may Yaradua no get a deputy like ATIKU. We can read between the lines for we are no fools. Let us support Yaradua so that from the top working the way down we can wipe out the numerous ILLS in our society. Yaradua’s promise to reform the electoral process is welcome. Let him start sooner than later – by ensuring first that the Electoral Tribunals all do the right thing and allow the truth to come out. Its looking good. MIMIKO is on the right track to success, victory and GOVERNORSHIP OF ONDO STATE. We believe. God is good.
OBASANJO, O DI GBERE ,O DI GBOSE, O DA RINA KO, OTUN WA DI OJU ALA – FOR TO WE NIGERIANS – YOU ARE DEAD. May you never directly or indirectly for ever and ever be involved in the political life of Nigeria. You have done too many damage and one too many injustice by trying to bring MIMIKO down. Segun Mimiko will forgive you and come and visit you on your sick bed when your last rites are being read to you – Amen.
