Six Guber Candidates Join Agagu, Withdraw Suits
Six Guber Candidates Join Agagu, Withdraw Suits. From James Sowole in Akure, 06.15.2007 ThisDay
In the spirit of reconciliation, six gubernatorial candidates that contested the April 14, 2007 election with Governor Olusegun Agagu, in Ondo State, yesterday agreed to work with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration. Agagu stated this yesterday in an address he presented at a press conference, in Abuja, made available to THISDAY in Akure. All the candidates, according to the governor’s address, were in Abuja for the event held after he featured on the African Independent Television (AIT) programme, Kakaki.
Sell-out Politicians
The candidates were Architect Olusola Agbesua of the Democratic Peoples Alliance (DPA); Mr Bankole Oluwajana of the Alliance for Democracy (AD); Professor Ibukun Arifalo of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP); Otunba Bamidele Akingboye of the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP); Honourable Ademola Adegoroye of the Action Congress (AC); and Chief Pere Ganfo of the ADC.
Also in attendance were three former gubernatorial aspirants, Mr Akin Olowookere of the NDP, Dr Dare Bada, Prince Olu Adegboro, and Dr Wahab Adegbenro all of the AC. With the action, the candidates’ petition on the April 14 poll may have been withdrawn from the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Akure.
A competent source within the office of the governor said high calibre indigenes of the state, including traditional rulers had been meeting with the rival Labour Party and its candidate, Dr Olusegun Mimiko on the need to work together. He said though the task was difficult, but the reconciliation is continuous, as the administration would do everything possible to move the state forward.

Let us look at the facts of the matter:
FACT 1. Mimiko won the Ondo Gubernatorial Elections with landslide victory and counting only the validate votes he had over 80% majority.
FACT .
FACT 2. All other Guber candidates combined plus Agagu cannot boast of a combined vote of 20% – I mean the genuine votes. So they are all losers anyway and have no feet to stand on and no case in court.
FACT 3. Mimiko is the only Gubernatorial candidate who has a genuine and valid case in court and this is the focus, not who joins who for wht reasons, although this does potray those who went into Ondo state politics to line their pockets. They will call even the cow their senior brother to be able to eat meat.
FACT 4. It is a sign of our decadent and sorry society that traditional rulers get involved in sycophancies to be able to get something out of it, but they should remember that as fathers of the communities, the people should be put first and this is what Mimiko is doing.
FACT 5. No one can change what the Lord has decreed.
FACT 6. MIMIKO WILL NOT SUP WITH THE DEVIL. HE HAS GOD ON HIS SIDE AND WILL WIN IN COURT.
FACT 7. The people in Ondo state are the ones suffering for all these and the Lord will be merciful on us and the truth shall prevail and the people although forcefully silenced for now shall sign songs of joy and enjoy all the social, welfare and educational amenities that they have been deprived of for so long – AMEN
THIS SO CALLED ALLIANCE OF CORRUPT AND GREEDY ALATENUJES IS DEFINITELY NOT DONE IN THE SPIRIT OF RECONCILIATION. STOP INSULTING THE INTELIGENCE OF THE PEOPLE. IT IS DONE IN THE SAME SPIRIT THAT TURNED NIGERIA INTO A MOST DECADENT MORALLY, SPIRITUALLY AND PSYCHOLOGICALLY CORRUPT COUNTRY, AND THEY ALL WANT A PEICE OF THE CAKE JUST LIKE MOST OF THEIR PREDECESSORS HAE DONE. NO ONE CARES FOR THE TRUTH AND PROGRESS OF ONDO STATE AMONGST ALL THESE PEOPLE – SHAME
THE EVIL THAT MEN DO WILL NOT ONLY LIVE AFTER THEM BUT KILL THEM FIRST.
PSALM 1 IS OUR GUIDE. MIMIKO WILL NOT SIT WITH THE SCORNFUL, HE WILL NOT STAND AROUND WITH SINNERS AND WILL NOT FOLLOW THE ADVICE OF THE WICKED
MIMIKO WILL DELIGHT IN DOING WHAT THE LORD WANTS
MIMIKO IS LIKE A TREE PLANTED BY THE RIVER BANK, HE WILL BE FRUITFUL AND HIS LEAVES WILL NOT WITHER AND ALL HE DOES WILL PROSPER
ALL THE LOOTERS OF NIGERIAN ECONOMY, MURDERERS OF THE ORDINARY PEOPLE AND TASKMASTERS WILL BE CONDEMNED AT THE TIME OF JUDGEMENT AND THEIR PATH WILL LEAD TO DESTRUCTION
BUT MIMIKO AND ALL HONEST LOVERS OF THE PEOPLE WILL BE VINDICATED BY GOD. I rest my case (for now).
Shame on them all. Thier actions is like a house built with saliva that would be put down by the early moring dew.
Shame on them all. Soon they evensually shame is fast approaching, bastards.
Well it is not a surprising news to hear that those APIP’s(Any party In power)has shamelessly decided to do what they had done. But i’ m assuring all Ondo indigenes that they(the Agagu new friends)had done nothing but embarked on a journey to political extinction.
Although I really sympathise with mr Olusola Agbesua. He should’nt have let the temporary gains of today damage his good reputation;others are widely known for their dubious characters already.
May the Good Lord continue to endow us with the courage to move on – and forward, the spirit of discernment not to unequally yoke ourselves with unbeleivers, and the contentment to live a life of intergrity, and a merciful spirit so that the focus of our life will be doing good to aleviate the sufferings of the common man so that we also can be blessed by God. All the wealth and money in this world will not buy us eternity and the cares of the world are all vanity. May all those who believe in Mimiko and the truth never be disappointed and may the ordinary people of Ondo State be granted that Daniel who they really really voted into power i.e. our man MIMIKO.
[...] Agagu could be playing to the gallery, he could have enough stolen resources –especially Naira Power to buy traditional rulers and hungry other failed politicians –either Goober or grubbers. He could have like the snake did to eve, smooth talked so many people [...]

419 has resurfaced with a new face and tactic but with the same goal. I call it reverse political 419. It is reverse in the sense that it is perpetrated by Diaspora Nigerians against Nigerians.
By Alfred Obiora Uzokwe – Nigeria World – 18th June 2007
BEWARE! – DIASPORA NIGERIAN POLITICAL 419ERS ON THE PROWL
Not long ago, 419 blossomed in Nigeria. The modus operandi of the perpetrators of this financial crime was simple but effective. From Nigeria, they would write letters to unsuspecting victims in the Western world. In their letters, they would talk about an inheritance they want to spirit out of Nigeria or something of that sort. They would then ask their victims to send them some money to cover the expenses for processing the release of the “inheritance” with a promise that the victims would get part of the “inheritance”. Unfortunately, many people, in the Western world, fell for the pranks and lost huge sums of money to the 419ers. As a corollary, Nigeria’s image suffered immensely.
I remember when a Nigerian 419 email was sent to the office where I worked. The response, from our internet administrator, was swift. He sent around emails that asked everyone to beware of Nigeria and Nigerians. Several Nigerians here were bent out of shape by the administrator’s email. They, understandably, found it very insolent and complained. I held a different view then. My view was that if there was any one to be angry at for soiling the collective names of Nigerians in the Diaspora, it was the perpetrators of the 419 activities not those reacting to their heinous crimes. I wrote an article published on Nigeriaworld about that issue then. In that article, I expressed my disgust at the 419ers for perpetrating the fraud and soiling the image of Nigerians. I then blamed the Nigerian government for not doing enough to arrest the situation.
It turns out that curtailment of 419 financial crimes scourge was one of the few achievements that the Obasanjo administration could be credited with. Through some actions and public awareness campaign, many 419ers were put out of business. That was then, this is now. 419 has resurfaced with a new face and tactic but with the same goal. I call it reverse political 419. It is reverse in the sense that it is perpetrated by Diaspora Nigerians against Nigerians. It is political in nature because the perpetrators use politics to sell and spread their stock in trade. I will use some scenarios to expatiate on some aspects of this deceit as I know them.
The first scenario goes thus: You are a Nigerian living in the Diaspora, say the United States. Suddenly, you get an email from an internet discussion forum moderator that says that you have been subscribed to a Yahoo or Google news forum. The message says it is an opportunity for you to network and discuss important matters pertaining to your State, your community or Nigeria as a whole. The email further states that hundreds of other Nigerians are already members of the internet discussion forum. As someone who is passionate about Nigeria and want to know how you can help the country, you accept the invitation and join the internet discussion group and start getting their emails.
Every day, when you get back home and check your email, a zillion emails will already be in there from the discussion forum. You open up the emails and notice that some of them, indeed, have very important current affairs information about your State, Community or Nigeria while some are mere discussions by members about Nigerian politics and politicians. Very soon, you observe that there are a few very vocal people on the forum. They always seem to have an opinion about any and every topic that comes up in the forum. They are quick to “expose” the peccadilloes of Nigerian politicians and would lambaste them to no end in their emails. They write very passionately and vehemently, criticizing the government on issues very strongly. As time goes on, their names stick in your mind and become synonymous with “freedom fighting”, albeit via the internet. You, as a Nigerian that would like corruption to become a thing of the past and would love to see a new and better Nigeria, begin to feel that these outspoken guys are on your side and indeed on the side of the poor masses in Nigeria. You respect them and even hope, in your mind, that such vocal and fearless men and women would have the opportunity to serve Nigeria.
As all this is going on, unbeknownst to you, the forum moderators also used the same tactics they used on you to furtively subscribe politicians or people in the corridors of power in Nigeria to the discussion forum. They tell them things like, “you should join the forum so as to read first hand information about the needs of Diaspora Nigerians as expressed on the discussion forum. Essentially, all the internet discussions that go on in the forum are also seen and read by these powerful politicians back in Nigeria. The politicians begin to notice the vocal ones and see them as people they could “do business with”. As time goes on, the politicians or their emissaries make tacit overtures to the internet warriors to woo them to their side. Before long, the one-time vocal internet critics fly down to Nigeria at the invitation of the politicians. The next thing you hear is that the person is in Nigeria working, covertly or overtly, for the same politician that they once attacked on the internet as corrupt and evil. This is not the 419 part. The 419 part is that as soon as they join the politicians back in Nigeria, they jettison the ideology they once maintained on the internet, which won them the admiration of other forumites. They start dancing to the tune of the same corrupt and inept politicians that they once called vile names. The 419 scam in this is that the two-faced moderators use the names of unsuspecting but captive subscribers to swell their internet forum ranks. When they try to subscribe politicians to their forum, they boast to them about having hundreds of Diaspora Nigerian subscribers already without telling them how they deceived them into joining. Because politicians love numbers, they are immediately enticed to join in, hoping they can make the forumites part of their political constituency.
We saw a lot of this internet political 419 during the period leading up to the 2007 elections. A lot of internet forum discussion groups began to spring up everywhere. The moderators vocally denounced election rigging and called several politicians vile names because of their preponderance for rigging and ineptitude. They called on fire and brimstone to descend on politicians that dared to rig elections. Some even pretended to possess damaging information about would-be politicians which they would make public at the right time. Of course this attracted the attention of some Nigerian politicians to these people. When the time was right, these politicians “settled” them and many changed their messages. The politicians they once reviled for their corrupt ways became their new found darlings. Essentially, they used intimidation and blackmail to attract pecuniary benefits for themselves. This is 419.
Another brand of political 419, similar to the one above is fairly common. Some Diaspora Nigerians open up websites and begin to use the medium to attack politicians in Nigeria through expose of all sorts. Of course this grabs the attention of most Nigerians both in the Diaspora and in Nigeria, after all we love to see our politicians exposed for what they really are. As soon as these people get the attention of Nigerians and get politicians quaking in their booths, they start making illicit overtures towards the politicians using their expose as a bargaining chip. Some end up returning to work for the same people they called vile names, making a 180 degree turn from the ideology they once had and start singing the praises of the politicians. Again, this is 419 because the person in questions, through deceit, basically coerced the politician into “settling” them. I must state, at this point, that not all the Diaspora internet investigative groups are this way. Some have been established for quite sometime now and have continued to do the same good work, bless them, for the Nigerian people and have not wavered. Their messages have remained the same and by their fruits, you shall know them.
The third and most tricky scenario is where the political 419ers actually form organizations. They would call themselves names like “Nigerians for better Governance in Nigeria”, or Association of People of…State.”. Some even form what they refer to as organizations that want to fight one thing or the other in Nigeria, their home states or their communities. They develop and publish impressive mission and vision statements and begin to invite Nigerians to join them. People join them either because their mission statement dovetails with what they believe in or they find the groups as avenues to help make Nigeria better.
The founders of these types of 419 organizations always seek to occupy a position, in the organization, that would make them very visible. They seek to be president, vice, secretary, publicity secretary and the likes. They love yearly jamborees that they call conventions for the organizations all over the Diaspora. They use their positions to insist on bringing in high-powered politicians from Nigeria during their conventions. If their target ambition is to get into the corridors of power at the federal level, they insist on inviting federal politicians but if their target ambition is state politics, they invite politicians from that arena. What they fail to tell the people they deceive is the fact that they are actually using the conventions to boost their standing in the eyes of the politicians coming from Nigeria.
During the conventions, they are the loudest, they never fail to make the “august visitors” know that they have clout in the Diaspora. At the end of the conventions, of course the politicians start reaching out to them as perceived Diaspora Nigerian leaders. This ordinarily will be normal but what happens is that the same people who are supposed to speak for Diaspora Nigerians and ensure that their interests are protected, turn into contract and position seekers and in the process become compromised. From that moment on, every thing goes. They would even work with the vilest politician as long as they will get personal pecuniary benefits. This is why several of these so-called Diaspora organizations never achieve anything or use their high horse positions to get the Nigerian politicians to change course.
These 419ers make their move during the so-called conventions. The huge turn out of Diaspora Nigerians at the conventions impress the attending politicians from Nigeria. As a result, they start seeing them as true movers and shakers in the Diaspora. They see them as people that even have a political constituency of their own. The political 419ers use their keynote speeches to talk tough about what they want Nigerian politicians to do. They insist on zero tolerance for corruption and the likes. Unbeknownst to the other convention attendees, the person is merely interviewing for contracts, political positions or pecuniary benefits under the guise of keynote speech.
After showing themselves as movers and shakers, the politicians latch on to the 419ers. From there, a relationship develops that no longer has anything to do with the original intent of the groups they formed and through which they met the politicians. Some begin to make personal demands of contracts and the likes from these politicians. Some succeed while others fail. The ones that succeed stop criticizing the politicians. Again, this is 419. Using other people and their money to pad someone’s resumes, develop influence and then turn around and jettison the original intent of the group for personal pecuniary benefit is 419, period.
The moral of all the above is that all that glitters is not gold. If you suddenly get an email inviting you to join an internet discussion forum, think long and hard about it. If you do not want to become an inadvertent resume padder for a floundering political jobber, seeking to gain pecuniary benefits from Nigerian politicians, pause and do some checking. Ask for the name of the moderator of the forum and check to see what the person does for a living and the likes. Ask for the names of other forumites. The result of the check would help in making a more informed decision. No one should get this writer wrong, there is nothing wrong with an ambition to go back to Nigeria and serve, using what one has learnt from the Diaspora. However, if the end goal of the political 419ers is merely to go and extort politicians, then I see a lot of problems with that.
I recall getting an email in the past about a Diaspora Nigerian that told the people in his city, here in the United States, that he was going to Nigeria to run for office. He presented a manifesto of all the things he would do. It looked good and so people gathered one night and raised funds for him. He went home. Not only did he not run for the office he set out to, he began to support another candidate from a political party that those who supported him would not have wanted him to. As I write, people here are grumbling about the money they gave him. Some are even insinuating that he scammed people for money to build a mansion back in Nigeria. It would have been a different issue if he vied for the office and lost but he never did and did not return the money people gave him. Now, that is political 419! The lesson in this one is that when someone suddenly starts gathering people to donate for him to go and run for office in Nigeria, better stop and check the person out.
One must never overemphasize the fact that there are genuine Diaspora Internet Forum discussion groups and moderators. They seek to advance knowledge of current affairs in Nigeria and encourage genuine political involvement. Some have endured for a long time and have a good history. The activities of the 419ers must not be allowed to overshadow these ones. In the same way, there are many good and enduring Nigerian organizations in the Diaspora. Many have impressive mission statements and have endured. They are the ones that have actually made physical and tangible difference in Nigeria. They help build or rehabilitate schools; they donate money for scholarships to disadvantaged people in Nigeria. You would know them by their antecedents. Their decisions are always by consensus and there are no individuals that suddenly decide that the organization is their private property for hobnobbing with powerful politicians in Nigeria. One has to be very discerning to sift the wheat from the chaff.
Before I sign off, I would like to comment on the Supreme Court verdict in Nigeria in favor of governor Obi. I never saw it coming, period! Infact, because of Obasanjo’s stranglehold on the judiciary, I believed that Peter Obi’s petition for tenure elongation was an exercise in futility and said so in one of my write ups. What I did not know was that the Apex court was ready to make a bold statement about its independence. I thought to myself that the court may be timid about changing Anambra State election cycle and so decline to find for Peter Obi. I was wrong. Apparently, they have shed the shackles that the dictator, Obasanjo placed on them all.
The Supreme Court decision was a landmark one that would, in the final analysis, make Anambra State the cradle of democracy in Nigeria. The state has endured all manners of obstacles to development. It has endured Mbadinuju. It has endured vindictive Obasanjo. It has now endured arrogant Andy Uba and the political hangers on that were already hanging around him for opportunity to loot the treasury. The stage is set for Peter Obi to do good for the State. Dr Chris Ngige was not perfect but he showed the people of the state that teachers, pensioners and civil servants could be paid their salaries and yet carry out other projects. Like Ngige, Obi is not perfect and has made some missteps. He must correct them now that he is back in the saddle with renewed authority. He must also be on the look out for political 419ers shed by the removal of Uba. They will now begin to find a way to get back into Obi’s train. They are already speaking from both sides of their mouths. After calling Uba the legitimate governor just a week ago, they are now changing their stance. Some, in Diaspora organizations, are already planning on how to organize their usual jamboree called convention and have penciled down Obi to attend. They would like to use such forum to work their ways back into the man’s train. Obi must distance these political harlots from his administration because they would do whatever is expedient to get political power and money.
Obi’s victory is a welcome one because it gave good riddance to bad rubbish. The job is not fully done yet. The April 14 election, in Anambra state, should and must still be annulled and new elections held for the State and Federal Houses. Those impostors currently parading themselves, in those houses, as representatives of the people, know that no elections took place in the State April 14. All people of goodwill must now continue to push for the election tribunal to annul those (s)elections. A new date has to be set for the people to elect those that will represent them in Awka and Abuja. Anambra State will now elect representatives that will work with Obi to take the state to the Promised Land.
Ehindero, the corrupt policeman that helped mastermind the April 14 fraud has now been unmasked! How are the mighty fallen. He should be put in jail along with his lieutenants that stood idly by while PDP operatives ran roughshod over the masses in Anambra State during the elections. Nigeria is on the path of renewal. I said this to a group of Nigerians during a high school graduation party yesterday. For the first time in a long time, I have become optimistic that the nation is on a true course to genuine democracy. Uzokwe’s Searchlight will continue to beam the light on all corners of the country. May God Help Us.

Reinstated Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi and his deputy, Dame Virgy Etiaba on Monday got a heroic welcome from the people of the state who came out en masse to receive them at Awka, the state capital.
For the first time, the state witnessed an unprecedented crowd that was not hired, but made up of jubilant citizens who came out unsolicited to thank God for the restoration of what they called the “mandate of the people.”
By 8am, people had started trooping out to the Amansea Border town and Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, venue of the reception, with various cultural and traditional dances.
Of great interest at the reception held at the Ekwueme Square was the presence of four governorship candidates in the April 14 general elections in the state, who mounted the podium with Governor Obi in solidarity. They included, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu of African Political System (APS); Prince Ossy Ezenwa of Democratic People Party (DPP); Chief (Mrs.) Njideka Anyadike of African Democratic Congress (ADC); and Chief Victor Anigbata of National Democratic Party (NDP).
The electrifying reception came just as the state’s House of Assembly, inaugurated Tuesday last week by Dr. Andy Uba, passed a resolution, extending a hand of fellowship to Obi, which, according to them, was to ensure peace, stability, good governance and development in the state.
Obi, who had arrived Enugu aboard Arik Airlines en-route to Awka to resume duties, told newsmen: “My victory at the Supreme Court is a victory for Anambra State and her people.”
The governor, who left for Independence Layout residence of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu immediately after the chat with newsmen, to pay his courtesies, observed that “the people of Anambra State prayed for this victory and God, in his infinite mercy, granted their wishes through the due process of law.”
The governor admonished the people, “it is time for you to take full ownership of your state and work together towards developing it.”
Obi, in a feeling of nostalgia about the past contribution of Anambra State towards national development, said: “It is about time the state took its pride of place in the country.”
Addressing the people at the reception, Governor Obi asked them to see the Supreme Court decision as a victory for democracy and rule of law and a victory for the people of the state who he said had groaned under needless oppression in the last eight years.
He said that God has a reason for granting him victory three times, giving assurance that he would not fail God. He pledged that he would increase his commitment and “it will not be aggressive.”
“By this victory, my dear people of Anambra State, we are called upon to take ownership of our state and our affairs. I invite all our people to join hands with me to continue meaningfully towards rebuilding our dear state so that it will take its rightful place in the comity of Nigerian State.
“This is not a time for hatred. It is time for love. It is not a time for divisions; it is a time for unity. It is not a time for war, but a time for peace. This is a time for our perceived differences and difficulties to act as instruments of making us join hands together as a people with a common destiny.
“The Supreme Court judgment enjoins us to commit ourselves to hard work and sacrifices for the attainment of our collective aspirations. I wish to express sincere thanks to the judiciary for rising up to the occasion of not only defending the constitution, which is sacrosanct, but also guaranteeing that our nascent democracy will be sustained in order to build a better future for our children and our children’s children.
“Indeed, Anambra State is the light of the nation. We have continued to manage our affairs and master our challenge without recourse to violence and bloodshed. We must continue our public affairs with faithfulness to God and respect for our constitution and the rule of law. We must continue to serve the course of justice and the ideals of democracy. Once we do not forget that we belong to each other, our peace will be sustained. For my part, I rededicate myself to continue to work faithfully and honestly as the chief servant of Anambra State.”
In his address, the Vice Presidential candidate of Action Congress (AC), Senator Ben Obi, who represented the Coalition of Political Parties in the state, reiterated their earlier stand that no election held in the state in the last general election.
He noted that the Supreme Court judgment was the voice of God, and urged the people to support Governor Obi to move the state forward.
“He stepped aside for 17 days. In those 17 days, there was a vacuum, there was no government, that is the verdict. He is back to continue his service. The people who are in government must be very careful. You should not use government to cheat.
“Obasanjo did not know eight years will end, eight years has ended, Obasanjo has gone, a new government is here today in Anambra State, if you want to install a puppet, go to your state. The state of Zik of Africa is not the state you install a puppet. The Inspector-General of Police, Sunday Ehindero is being charged for corruption. Political leaders who are unsheathing their followers will pay dearly sooner or later. Religious leaders who are misleading their followers will do the same. Traditional rulers who do not know what the law says should go and learn.
“We are not going to take all these nonsense again in this state enough is enough. Enough is enough.”
Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion and former Chief Judge of the state, Justice Godwin Ononiba, said that the development in Anambra State showed that the nation was getting wiser and that anyone who feels otherwise must be a fool, adding: “Democracy is not for fools.”
The national chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh, told the people of the state that God had given them a fresh opportunity to have a rethink on how they live, stressing that with what had happened, “nobody has any reason to go back to what is wrong.”
Yes and amen to the people’s prayers in Ondo state. The Anambra story tells it all. God is still on the side of His own and will grant our good wishes. Ondo State people are being forced to silence as they have no choice. Even bloggers are being targetted but the truth of God will prevail. We must really commend the people of Ondo State for holding on to sanity. Just like the people of Anambra have their wishes granted by God, so will it be with Mimiko. The Electoral Tribunal will be held in God’s guiding hands and the spirit of the Lord will overtake all their actions and deliberations, for the truth will not be hidden and when the results are out, we shall praise God in the highest adoration we can give. Even then the mandate stealers will be rendered powerless and no one would be intimidated and threatened because God rendered all the Egyptians powerless when He was ready to move in the lives of the Israelites. FATHER JEHOVAH, PLEASE HEAR OUR HOMBLE PRAYER, PLEASE TAKE CONTROL, FOR ONDO STATE DOES NOT WANT TO CONTINUE TO SUFFER IN SILENCE. OUR CHILDREN NEED SCHOOLS. THE HOSPITALS NEED DRUGS AND THE JOBLESS NEED WORK, THE DRIVERS WANT SAFE ROADS AND WE ALL WANT TO LIVE IN LESS DEHUMANISING ENVIRONMENT IN ONDO STATE. MIMIKO HAS ROOM FOR ALL WHO WANT TO DEVELOP AND ASSIST IN ONDO STATE, AND THE PEOPLE WANT A RESPITE FROM LOOTING, CORRUPTION, FEAR, DISCOMFORT, DEATHS AND FOOLERY IN ONDO STATE. Dr Rahman Segun Mimiko is your choice, make your words come true, (amen)
thank God that the battle is getting more focus day by day. had it been that all other candidates are in tribunal to challenge the election, it might not have been easy getting the pendulum swinging to mimiko’s side. but with this situation now the coast is clear.
you cant blame those candidates that declare support for agagu because they dont have anything to offer than to attract unnecessary attention to themselves for people to see them.
can you imagine, bankole oluwajana the AD governorship candidate complaning that he has left his business for the past two years to join politics. if not for the election, prof arifalo’s name would not have been heard.
any way God is in control.
God is indeed in control and forever will be. The Lord knows who is who and even if we dont know them, they will expose themselves for the world to see by their actions. People have different reasons for going into politics and people have different interpretations of what Politics is. Even though most are their for the money and to turn N20,000 to Billions and Billions within years, there are some who just want to make a difference in society and help make things better. Yes it is difficult for those who want to fight corruption and make Nigeria a better place, but it is not impossible FOR WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. When Rawlings started in Ghana, little did the Ghanians knew then that his name would go down as the Daniel that saved Ghana from the doldrums. Look at Ghana now, the are proud to be Ghanians. In Gods name we shall also be proud once again to be Nigerian. Now in Ondo state, God will do something new for he will look on the plight of the masses and the state of affairs in Ondo State and get rid of Agagu the taskmaster and his evil task force. Joseph was sold into slavery and ended in Egypt to be a saviour, Moses was left to float to destination unknown in a river to be brought up in Pharoah’s household to save the Israelites. Mimiko did not just rise to be a governorship candidate for nothing. Gos is the Masterplanner, even Prison did not stop Joseph becoming what God decreed he would be and even exile did not stop Moses returning to lead the Israelites out of slavery. MIMIKO IS A GOVERNOR AND FUTURE PRESIDENT IN THE MAKING. NO ONE CAN STOP WHAT GOD HAS STARTED. We can see the work of God in everything happening in Ondo State and we just have to thank God that Mimiko is a disciplined man, a focussed individual and the people’s hope for better living in Ondo State. THERE WILL BE ROOM ENOUGH FOR ALL TO MOVE ONDO FORWARD WITH MIMIKO, SOON AND VERY SOON,amen.
Jesus Paid It All…
I couldn’t understand some parts of this article, but it sounds interesting…
