Ondo Police Chief at Center of Rigging Allegations
Soure: Nigerian Election Hotline
Police officers have accused Ondo State’s Commissioner of Police, Innocent Iluozoke, of collaborating with the ruling People’s Democratic Party to rig the 21 April elections.
“I want to alert you that our Commissioner of Police is scheming to rig the election for the PDP. He has asked us to co-operate with the party during the election. He has warned us against arresting any government officials who might wish to move around during the election,” some officers, attached to the headquarters of state police command in Akure, told Nigeria Election Hotline.
However, Commissioner Iluozoke’s office denies any violation of strict neutrality. Contacted about the allegations against Commissioner Iluzoke, Ondo State Police, Force spokesman, Mr. Haz Iwendi sternly said: “You are simply living in the past.”
One Response to “Ondo Police Chief at Center of Rigging Allegations”
If the Commissioner is certain he did not do it, our God will vindicate him, but if he actually did(which we know he did), God will mete out the right punishment as and when it’s due. I still can’t see why a man is professionally trained, and is being paid to protect lives and properties; and all he does is to connive with politicians to ruin lives and properties. God is not a fool, so He knows what to do.
When transfers were announced on the 29th of march, I remember commenting on the fact that he was not moved. Now we know why. The INEC Commissioner who was in the election saga was taken to Edo, and the one from Edo brought here. To me it’s madness because the two states were hot spots; so it’s also clear the two were determined agents of INEC, and if not here, will work there and vice versa, and they did the government work perfectly.
We will not curse, but nobody collects blood money and profits from it.
