The Nation reports that some Ondo “leaders” have endorsed Agagu’s second term. Who are these people?

…A mob headed by a sore loser and vision-less politicians. People like:

Chief Segun Adegoke – a chronic spoiler and a spent and soulless politician without a base. It is on record that Adegoke’s allegiance goes to highest bidder. How much was the booty this time around, Chief? Sir you are better off as a lawyer if you still have what it takes, you are not in any way a leader, not even in your street in Ondo;

Senator Gbenga Ogunniya – This is a back-bencher Senator. Honestly this is one of the most under-performing Senator in Nigeria. Aside from the National Human Rights Commission Act (Amendment) Bill 2006 sponsored by the honorable Senator in 2006, I can’t find what else he has done, even as the Chairman of the Banking, Insurance and Financial Institution. It is on record that he voted “YES” to the unconstitutional elongation of Mr President’s term. How a senator who has gone AWOL from his base could be re-elected for a third term is one of the intrigues of the PDP. Information has it that his constituency office is under lock and key during his eight years in the senate.

According to Senator Ogunniya:

“There is nothing wrong about being ambitious. Ondo want to produce the governor. In God’s own time, the dream will come true. There is nothing illegitimate about competition. In 2011, it is the turn of the central district to produce the governor.”

Are these the so-called leaders?

    It is unfortunate that chief folorunsho david is talking and canvassing for a failed Agagu, I am not surprise that he is doing what he would always do; that is, supporting whoever gives him money to buy him over.

    I wonder, How much Agagu has given him this time around as it happened during Ileri Obaship debacle. let him know that he has failed this time around because the people have known the light.

    It is a shame that even the supposed leader wanna-be Mimiko has degraded so low, to name calling. And he wants to be a leader. Look at pot calling kettle black! Apart from this Governor campaign and the ministerial post, is it not ass kissing that got you there by lobbying and using contacts. You people have turned getting into government your father’s business. At least the so called bad leader chief Adegoke has been there before you were anything, and till now – what have you done for the Ondo people. Yet are we to trust that you will now do something when you get there? you people are all jokers a laughing stock. You should develop some class – are the young ones suppose to respect you now! you that you have none for your elders. What a leader you will be indeed, and what is that slogan- iroko – whoever came up with that idea should be shot!! I am gravely disappointed and so are the educated elites that hail from ondo but are younger… have your fun because it is high time politics get some educated class.

    What is your point Seye? Do you really anything intelligent to say? Or you just want to rant and throw a fit? Your statement actually makes you the laughing stock, really. Does it feel strange being the odd one out here?

    The election is just around the corner, and you and your cohorts will live to see the result, amen.

    And point of correction Seye, this web site is not funded or written by the principal, this is totally a private site that is pushing for a public cause.

    As a matter of fact, I will not support the idea of calling people names. We must still be courteous in all our conducts.
    What should pre-occupy us now are issues of development.
    I support Mimiko but then, I must realise that everybody is entitled to his/her opinions and I must respect that.

    For sure, 2007 is sure for Mimiko
