Governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko, on Monday, started his legal battle against the re-election of Olusegun Agagu on brighter notes, as the court granted his two earlier prayers before the tribunal.

Mimiko was granted an ex-parte motion, compelling the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to allow the petitioner unhindered access to all documents relating to the governorship and House of Assembly elections.

The tribunal, chaired by Justice J. Nabaruma, also granted in favour of Mimiko, an ex-parte order for a substitute service on Agagu, a copy of the petition submitted to the tribunal by the former, challenging the governor’s declaration as the winner of the governorship election.

With the two orders granted, the petitioner is allowed to inspect the ballot papers, both used and unused for the elections, the result sheets, forms: EC8A, EC8B, EC8C and EC8D for the governorship poll; and EC8A1, EC8B1, EC8C1 and EC8D1 for the House of Assembly’s.

Mimiko would also be allowed to serve the respondent through a third party or by other means, as a substitute to serving him directly or personally.

The legal team of the LP candidate was led by Dr. Oluremi Ayeni. Other members include the secretary of the team, Oluremi Olatubora and the legal adviser to LP, Yinka Akinyosoye.

ALLAH WA KUBA. GOD IS GOOD GOD IS GREAT. HIP HIP HIP HOORAH. MIMIKO, Nabaruma, Ayeni, Olatubora, Akinyosoye, Ondo State, LP, Brighter Days Net work world wide, and all well meaning uprright and Godly people in Nigeria and in the diaspora are showered today with all the blessings decreed in Deutoronomy 28 vs 1 – 14. AGAAGU, OBASANJO, and all who have pitched camp with THE ENEMIES OF ONDO STATE and the Lord will ENJOY THE CURSES of Deutoronomy 28 vs 15-68. Their end is summned up in many words “…you will be cursed in your towns and in the country…the Lord Himself will send against you curses, confusion and disillusionment in all you do…devastations will pursue you until you die…you will attack your enemy from one direction but you will scatter from them in seven!…the Lord will strike you with madness blindness and panic…the Lord will exile you…you will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them for they will be led away in captivity…the Lord will overwhelm you… with plagures…the Lord will send you back to Egypt…there you wil offer to sell yourself to your enemy but no one will buy you…the Lord will find pleasure in destroying you (AMEN SO BE IT).
IROKO yi jo gba sibeeee. MIMIKO jaree it is good to trust only in God and not in juju and nairapower whose end is always destruction.

My dear people of Ondo State, we can see that the task ahead is enormous and we may need to tarry longer than we think because it will take time to sift through all the evidences and scrutinise all the papers, but we know one thing as God is on the throne, MIMIKO WILL WIN THIS PETITION, HIS STOLEN MANDATE WILL BE RESTORED AND HE WILL RETURN TO GOVERN ONDO STATE THIS YEAR 2007. Please be patient and dont give up, remain focussed and dont let anyone take you away from the path of truth and glory. Keep up your support for MIMIKO and strengthen him for he is only a man and need us all as well as he has God on our side. Do not hurry to say rankadede to the thief who will be disgraced soon, do not accept anything less than the truth. Some are testing the waters but God has decreed and no one can change MIMIKO,S DESTINY FOR IT IS FOR THE GOOD OF ONDO STATE. For what profit for a man who gain the world and lose his soul? Money and Naira alone cannot give hapiness. Seeing Ondo State with all amenities, good schools, hospitals and medical props, good roads, in place is the goal. OUR SUNHINE STATE WANTS TO EARN THAT NAME, and this can be achieved through MIMIKO and not Agagu who we can clearly see is a bandit sorrounded by looters. Let us all keep praying for MIMIKO and follow this Election Tribunal procedure with keen interest so that we are not caught unawares a second time. God will minister into the hearts of all the lawyers and justice deciders in Jesus name. DONT EVER GIVE UP UNTIL THE TRUTH IS DECLARED AND MIMIKO REINSTATED AS THE TRULY ELECTED GOVERNOR OF ONDO STATE. Remain blessed my loving Ondo State fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and children.

Dekunbi, I read yours daily and glad a woman like you is still available. God bless you. By the way, I met you once or twice in Ikeja in the 1990`s.
Please keep on with this and those of us away from home are trying to fight this some other way(s) but we realy need someone like you, a fearless woman just like PaPa that I knew.
    Again remain blessed.

Brother, Baba or Uncle Fred, God bless you too and thanks for the boost you have given me. Some of us are just fed up with the state of Nigeria. At home its sadness and gloom, abroad, its shame and stigma. A lot of Nigerians seem to have soaked themselves in the river of corruption, 419, Occultism and many other shamemless activities at home and abroad and the Nigerian youth and children are really following suit big time. It is sad. In London Nigerian children have joined gangs in thousands and they go killing, looting and maiming and getting killed, In Nigeria it is the same though I dont know about how bad it is in the USA. How long do we want to keep this up. We can all see from recent activities that when we have the likes of Obasanjo, Agagu, and all the countless shameless corrupt thiefs and looters who we now can see are also sick in the head as leaders, then we have a problem. This is why NOW IS THE TIME to stand out and say no to all these nonsense as enough is enough. Ondo State will fight the good fight until a successful outcome FOR MIMIKO THE RIGHTFULLY ELECTED GOVERNOR OF ONDO STATE WHO HAS SOMETHING GOOD TO DELIVER. Well done for all your numerous works in other avenues sir. The truth and justice will prevail. And sir Fred, you brought a smile to my face when you mentioned my father, Ikeja and the 90s. Those were the good old days when I had a lot to smile and laugh about. I have not had a hearty laugh since March 14, but in Jesus name we shall all smile and laugh again – very soon. MIMIKO WE WILL SUPPORT YOU TO THE END. YOU ARE COUNTED AMONGST THE NIGERIAN 100 SANE AND GENUINE LEADERS. Your mandate will be restored. IROKO GBA SI BEEEEEE, MIMIKO JAREEEEEE. Fred, eyin na e gba sibeeeee.

THE PLEDGE TO REFORM THE ELECTORAL PROCESS IS GOOD BUT THE CURRENT PROCESS IS NOT BEING FOLLOWED. ALHAJI YAR’ ADUA, WHAT WILL YOU DO TO A DEPUTY GOVERNOR THAT STOLE BALLOT BOXES OR AN INDICTED GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE WHO ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT ELECTORAL PROVISION IS NOT QUALIFIED TO CONTEST IN THE FIRST PLACE? THOSE ARE THE TYPE OF QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ANSWER CORRECTLY IN THE FIRST PLACE BEFORE YOU RAISE THE ISSUE OF REFORM. DO YOU REALLY NEED A REFORM TO ARREST THEM ALONG WITH THE SECURITY OFFICERS WHO CONNIVE WITH THEM TO CIRCUMVENT THE PROVISION OF THE CURRENT ELECTORAL PROCESS? OOH, THIS IS ANOTHER I AM ASSUMING POWER RHETORIC OR JIVING. TELL THE WHOLE WORLD THAT THE #32 BILLION NAIRA OBASANJO IS PLANNING TO STEAL IN THE NAME OF YOUR INAUGURATION IS A WASTE. THEREFORE IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. YOU NEED TO OPENLY DISTANT YOURSELF FROM THIS BLATANT WASTE AND GETAWAY LOOT.

YOUR PLEDGE TO REFORM THE ELECTORAL PROCESS IS A TYPICAL EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH NIGERIA IN PARTICULAR AND AFRICA IN GENERAL. WE HAVE GOOD LAWS BUT THEY ARE NEVER FOLLOWED OR IMPLEMENTED. THE RULE OF LAW IS INOPERABLE IN NIGERIA. THE MEASURE OF A COUNTRY’S GREATNESS IS EQUALITY BEFORE THE LAW AND FREEDOM FOR IT’S CITIZENS. THAT IS WHAT MR. PRESIDENT ELECT NEEDS TO GIVE A SERIOUS THOUGHT.

WHEN OBASANJO WAS THERE SOME WERE PROSECUTED AND OTHERS WERE NOT FOR THE SAME OFFENSE. SOME WERE DISQUALIFIED BUT OTHERS WERE NOT FOR THE SAME OFFENSE. SOME WERE ARRESTED AND TRIED BUT OTHERS WERE NOT FOR THE SAME CRIME. ALHAJI, YOU MUST PLEDGE THAT NO CITIZEN WILL BE ABOVE THE LAW. THIS WILL REASSURE US THAT WE CAN GO AHEAD WITH THE PLAN TO PROSECUTE ALL THE TREASURY LOOTERS AND DISQUALIFY THOSE WHO CONTEST ELECTIONS WITHOUT BEING ELIGIBLE. THERE MUST BE NO STATUTORY LIMITATIONS IN THIS MATTER. THEN THE TRUE WINNER OF ONDO STATE GOVERNORSHIP RACE CAN OCCUPY HIS RIGHTFUL THRONE. CORRUPT GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, INCLUDING MINISTERS, COMMISIONERS, GOVERNORS, EVEN THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF MUST BE TRIED FOR ALL THEIR OFFENSES INSTEAD OF CLAIMING IMMUNITY FOR ALL THEIR WRONGDOINGS. REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO PRESIDENT CLINTON WHEN HE FOOLED WITH MONICA IN THE USA?

PLEDGE TO HEAL OUR ELECTRICITY, WATER, CRIME, FOOD, ROADS, UNEMPLOYEMENT, POVERTY, CORRUPTION, OFFICIAL LOOTING, E.T.C. PROBLEMS AND DELIVER ON ALL YOUR PROMISES. ALL THESE PROBLEMS LOOK INSURMONTABLE. BUT TRUST ME, WITH THE ELIMINATION OF OFFICIAL CORRUPTION FROM OUR SYSTEM, ALL THESE PROBLEMS CAN BE EASILY ERADICATED. TRY ALL THESE LOOTERS AROUND YOU, JAIL THEM AND CONFISCATE THEIR ASSETS AND GIVE THEM BACK TO THE NATION WHO IS THE RIGHTFUL OWNER IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHEN ALL OF THESE ARE FULFILLED YOUR NAME WILL FOREVER BE REMEMBERED IN NIGERIA.

MAY GOD ALMIGHTY BE WITH YOU AND DIRECT YOU AS YOU ARE TRYING TO DIRECT THE AFFAIRS OF NIGERIA. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW OBASANJO TO DIRECT OR TELEGUIDE YOUR AFFAIRS OR THE AFFAIRS OF NIGERIA. TO THE PROGRESSIVES OBASANJO IS DEAD AND GONE FOREVER.

    U.S.A.

This is a beautiful site and it’s actually my first time of visiting it. I am in the lounge in Dubai on my way from London and I was just trying to while away the time by getting on the net before I came across the site. For the people who have taken so much time to piece this together, I say WELL DONE! May the good Lord continue to uplift and strengthen you, Amen. For those who stole our mandate, don’t get too comfortable cos we are having it back. And for my colleagues, friends and associates in the labour party, I say keep up the good fight. It is not over until it is over. To my Boss, DR. Olusegun Mimiko, I say well done. The Lord’s promise to you and the good people of Ondo State will definitely manifest and we shall take back what is ours from the shameless ones so that Ondo state will be great again. I will definitely have a detailed look at this site and post more comments soon. You are simply wonderful. thank you.

AMEN AMEN AND AMEN TO ALL YOUR PRAYERS. REALLY MEANS A LOT TO ME. WE SHALL ALL PROSPER IN JESUS NAME. WE SHALL ALL LIVE LONG TO SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING. ABOVE ALL GOD WILL RESTORE MIMIKO’S MANDATE. ONDO STATE WILL PROGRESS AND CORRUPTION WILL BE WIPED OUT IN NIGERIA.
I still believe if given a chance Yaradua will deliver in Nigeria. He may need a few months or even 1 year to settle things and then make a progressive drive. Your questions and rationalisations are very valid and I believe we will in the near future have opportunities to make our valid observations known to Yaradua via some new BLOGS and lines of communication which might even be via the Nigerian Legal system. One thing is clear. We are breaking the jinx. There is freedom of speech in Nigeria now without the fear of Kirikirr, Alagbon and Ikoyi. Softly softly does it but step by step democracy is winning. This is the truth. We may not be able to make all the changes that Nigeria needs but we will see to it that positive changes are made in Ondo State. We will support DR RAHMAN OLUSEGUN MIMIKO THE TRULY DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED GOVERNOR OF ONDO STATE all the way. His mandate must be restored. He will no longer meet any frustrations in this appeal process in Jesus name. When Ondo State makes a difference, others will feel compelled to emulate as we Nigerians have a very competitive spirit (although unfortunately we do this also in bad things!!!). LET US ALL CONTINUE TO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORKS AND GOD WILL SEE THAT OUR LABOUR OF FAITH AND TRUTH IS CROWNED WITH SUCCESS – AMEN. Iroko yi joooooo, gba sibe…….No shakkiiiiiiiiiiing for you are a winner. MIMIKO jareeeeeeeeee
