The Kwara State chapter of the Labour Party (LP), has taken on President Olusegun Obasanjo on the allegation of corruption he reportedly levelled against the party governorship candidate in Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko. The president had during the rally of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akure, Ondo State capital, reportedly described Mimiko as corrupt. The governorship candidate is a former minister in the administration of Obasanjo and he is believed to be one of the top contenders of his state’s governorship seat.
